DNA model given by Watson and Creek in the year of 1953 gave a very detailed study regarding the structure of B DNA which is valid till date and is essentially corroborating with Chargaff's data and Xray diffraction pattern.

Explanation:

The DNA is the most common nucleic acid found in the living organisms as a genetic material. As stated by Watson and Creek, this DNA contains a double helical structure with two sugar phosphate backbones and the nitrogen bases getting projected from it inwards. The backbones are formed of ribose sugar and phosphate and joined together with a phosphodiester bond. The ribose sugar is attached to phosphates at its 3' and 5' Carbon atoms. The nitrogen bases found in DNA are Adenine, Guanine, Thymine and Cytosine. The Adenine has two hydrogen bonds with thymine and guanine has 3 hydrogen bonds with cytosine.

Each full turn of a helix is 34A and each base pair is 3.4A apart. The distance between two strands of DNA is 20A.

Chargaff's rule regarding the equal amount of adenine and thymine as well as guanine and cytosine is matching with this structure. All the other rules also do match with this DNA structure.

Since Lithium has one valence electron that means it needs to lose it to form a stable structure. That means it's valence is equal to one. Oxygen has six atoms, in order to form a stable octet structure it needs to accept 2 electrons, therefore it's valence is 2.

Therefore two Lithium atoms bond with one oxygen atom to form Li2O

In a flowering plants species, red flower color is dominant over white flower color. What is the genotype of any white-flowering
katovenus [111]

Explanation:

C. A red allele is present on both homologous chromosomes

Homologous chromosomes are pairs of chromosome of similar lengths, banding patterns, and centromere positions, with genes at the same loci. For dominance, gene copies are present on both of the chromosomes; the dominat variant overrides the effect of the other recessive allele.

Further Explanation:

DNA molecules contain chromosomes that may have different forms called alleles. DNA, which is the genotype, is transcribed into mRNA and later translated into amino acids which are connected together by rRNA to form proteins which constitute the phenotype of an organism. DNA sequence mutations form new alleles, impacting the associated mRNA, and thus the encoded protein.

Homozygous individuals have a chromosome containing two variants of the same allele. Dominant homozygous individuals bear two copies of the dominant allele, whereas recessive homozygous individuals hold two copies of the recessive allele.
