D will be the correct answer, and the group that took over the government of Iraq in 1963 was the Baath Party. Later on in 1979 Saddam Hussein will take power and become the President of Iraq. The Baath Party held power in 1963 led by al-Bakr and Saddam Hussein.

In 1968 to 2003, The Baath Party ruled Iraq. This was a period of tremendous growth for Iraq both economically and for prosperity. Unfortunately, it ended very badly and left Iraq facing severe social, political and economic problems.

After the Iraqi President Abdul Rahman Arif and the Prime Minister Tahir Yahya were ousted from power in a coup orchestrated by the Baath Party, they took control of the country.

Saddam Hussein was one the leaders of the party and chief intelligence officers. Finally, in 1979 he became the President of Iraq, and at the beginning he did very well, becoming a very influential leader in the Arab world.

Shortly after that, many internal conflicts specially with Iran, damage the country´s stability and he ended up going to war with Iran. The war lasted for 8 years and was a stalemate. In 1988 both sides agree to a cease fire. The war was detrimental for Iraq´s economy which became very dependent on donations from other countries to survive.

According to Lenin’s Call to Power, how can Russia’s problems be solved (li. 4-7)?
kotykmax [81]

Answer:

By having the people, the masses, and the army revolt to pave the way for change throughout Russia.

Explanation:

According to Vladimir Lenin's Call to Power, Russia’s problems can be solved (li. 4-7) by having the people, the masses, and the army revolt to pave the way for change throughout Russia.

He made this statement at a time when he was the leader of the revolutionary Bolshevik Party, which he later issued this statement at the beginning of the Russian Communist Revolution on October 24, 1917.

Lenin used the statement to gain more communist followers and let them know why they must maintain military pressure on the vulnerable democratic government.
