In the last century the development of mass-production capitalism has made cities rapidly grow, forming super-populous urban areas which include various challenges for the authorities and for the population. Firstly, the issue of the housing deficit. Likewise, the provision of basic services such as sanitation, health and education was compromised. Finally, the issue of pollution. With a large population, the urban areas began to produce a lot of garbage, causing environmental and pluvial pollution.
