Firstly, the issue of the housing deficit. Likewise, the provision of basic services such as sanitation, health and education was compromised. Finally, the issue of pollution. With a large population, the urban areas began to produce a lot of garbage, causing environmental and pluvial pollution.

In this way, these cities need to deal with housing production challenges and basic services for all, as well as the need for planning to minimize the environmental impact produced by these cities.
