<span>The Battle being described is the Battle of Gettysburg. It was the turning point in the Civil War. General Robert E. Lee was marching his troops toward the Susquehanna River Pennsylvania. He planned to launch a massive attack on the North that would crush their spirit. On July 1st, 1863 he crossed the Potomac and engaged in battle with General George G.
