The idea that the laws govern geologic processes  have not changed during earth's history. Hutton stated that there was no need of any preternatural cause to explain geologic record.Sir Charles Lyell, however, deciphered earth's history by employing Huttonian  principles and made available a host of new geologic evidence supporting the view that the physical laws are permanent.

Is the original climax community in a ecosystem more likely to be restored after a natural disturbance or a human caused disturb
levacccp [35]
Ecosystems disturbed by a nature will be eventually restored unless it's a really big cataclysm, but most of the ecosystems are now a human caused disturbance. For example there are plenty of species which are already extinct or nearly extinct because of hunting industry.

Answer:

Covalent bonds form when two atoms share valence electrons,

while Van der Waals forces cause an attraction between nonpolar

molecules

Explanation:

A covalent bond is said to be formed when two atoms of the same or different elements share electrons. In an ordinary covalent bond, each bonding atom contributes one valence electron while in a dative covalent bond only one of the bonding atoms provides the shared pair of electrons.

Van Der Waals forces is the major intermolecular interaction between non polar compounds. Van Der Waals forces " are caused by correlations in the fluctuating polarizations of nearby particles"(Wikipedia).
