If he has 16 Crackers to share equal with his mother. i Am Pretty sure you have to subtract it depends on How much crackers his Mother Wants so Let's say... His mother want 4 crackers. and he has 16 crackers so he will have 12 Crackers left if i'm Wrong i am Sorry.
