Answer:

Both lines are perpendicular

Step-by-step explanation:

We want to determine the relationship between the two lines.

The best thing to do is to calculate the slope of the two lines;

Mathematically;

Slope = y2-y1/x2-x1

For PQ; slope will be;

(-3-17)/(1-(-4) =-20/5 = -4

For RS

slope = (4-3)/(-5-(-9)) = 1/4

Now we have -4 and 1/4 as slopes

The product of both is 1/4 * -4 = -1

When two lines are perpendicular, the product of their slopes is -1

We can conclude that both lines are perpendicular to one another

Jamie starts a savings account with $75. She deposits $30 in her account a monthly. Her friend Carmen's savings account balance
MrRissso [65]

Answer:

Jamie starts off with 75 in her account and carmen starts with 100, while carmen have originally more since 100 is greater that 75 Jamie adds $30 monthly while carmen add 25 monthly so if we were to do jamies equation b=(30*6)+75 b would equal 255, and for carmen, we would have 250 since b=(25*6)+100 equals 250 meaning that Jamie would have a greater balance after 6 months

Rashid [163]

Answer:

To find the perimeter of a triangle, you would need  first all three side lengths.

9.7m-6.8m = 2.9, 6.6m+6.5p=7.1, 2.2p-6.4= -4.2. once I added all the sides it was 5.8.
