The Answer is Electrolyte

Further Explanation

The solution is that between the constituent substances do not have boundary fields and are homogeneous in each part of the mixture. The components of the solution are the solvent and the solute. The electrolyte is a substance which when dissolved in water will produce a solution that can produce an electric current

The electrolyte solution is a solution that can conduct an electric current, provide information about simplifying the lamp on the test equipment or creating a gas bubble in the solution. Electrolyte solutions that give the effect of light-shaped lights and create gas bubbles are called strong electrolytes. Examples are HCl, battery water, seawater, and lime water.

As for electrolytes that do not provide symptoms of lights but cause gas bubbles including weak electrolytes. Examples are ammonia solution, vinegar solution, and H2S solution. Strong electrolyte compounds in water can decompose completely to form positive ions (cations) and negative ions (anions).

Electrolyte solutions have ions of different charge and move freely. When an electric current is connected, the cation moves toward the cathode and the anion moves towards the anode so that the electric current flows in the system.

Electric current is an electron current. When passed into a strong electrolyte solution, the electrons can be delivered through ions in the solution, as delivered by a cable. As a result, the lights on the electrolyte test will light up.

When the concentration of ELECTROLYTES in tissues fluid is too high, intracellular fluid moves in to the extracellular compartment. Electrolytes are substances which dissolves in solutions to form ions, which can be positive or negative. Electrolytes in body fluid include: acids, bases, salts, and proteins.

Which hormone stops acid secretion in the stomach?
katrin2010 [14]

Answer:

CCK

Explanation:

Cholecystokinin (CCK) acts by generating gallbladder contractions and relaxing the Oddi sphincter together with the action of secretin (another hormone secreted by the gut) that stimulates bile production and decreases acid secretion in the stomach.

When stomach acid is high, it stimulates the secretion of another hormone, secretin, which causes decreased gastrointestinal motility. This has the effect of stopping the transfer of stomach contents to the duodenum, preventing the stomach from emptying too quickly. Secretin in conjunction with CCK will also act on the stomach glands, inhibiting acid secretion.

What would be the immediate consequence if a neurons sodium-potassium pump was disrupted?
Andrej [43]

Answer:

Option A.

Explanation:

The sodium pump in the neuron is electrogenic, there are three Na+ from every K+ that enter the cell . If there is a blockage to all sodium pump activity in a cell, there would be an instant change in the membrane potential which will not allow the action potential to take place because a hyperpolarizing current was removed, which means that the membrane potential becomes less negative. Therefore the electrogenic contribution of the sodium pump to the membrane potential will be small which lead to small depolarization.
