While a few of these were goals of the Farmers' Alliance, the main goal was to lower income taxes (D).

The Farmers' Alliance wanted to establish an income tax in order to restrict speculative profits. They also wanted to create a more equitable tax system on mortgage property. The Farmer's Alliance also pushed for an 8 hour work day and wanted to regulate railroad rates.
