\frac{30}{6}= \frac{5}{1} or 5
To simplify the fraction 30/6, you need to divide out the greatest common factor, (which is 6) from the numerator and denominator.
Work:
30:1,2,3,5,6,10,15,30
6:1,2,3,6
30÷6=5
6÷6=1
When ever there's a 1 as a denominator you know that it's going to be a whole number. <em>Hope I helped!</em>

Dave, Frank, and Kathy can process 1,300 catalog orders per day when all three of them are working. Dave and Frank can do 780 or
Natalija [7]
(1) x+y+z=1300
(2) x+y=780 => x = 780 - y
(3) y+z=850 => z = 850 - y

Replace x and z with y in function (1)

780 - y + y + 850 - y = 1300
1630 - y = 1300
y = 330

Therefore, x = 780 - y = 780 - 330 = 450
z = 850 - y = 850 - 330 = 520

Dave can do 450 catalog orders per day
Frank can do 330 catalog orders per day
Kathy can do 520 catalog orders per day

Which expression shows a sum of four terms?<br><br> 4 + x + 4 + x <br> x4<br> 4(x + 4) <br> 4x
denpristay [2]
The top one because each one represents a term  so 4 is one term and x is another term.

If y − 3 = 3x, which of the following sets represents possible inputs and outputs of the function, represented as ordered pairs?
seropon [69]

Answer:

A. {(0, 3), (1, 6), (2, 9)}

Step-by-step explanation:

All you have to do is substitute them

A.

y − 3 = 3x

3 - 3 = 3 (0)

0 = 0

y − 3 = 3x

6 - 3 = 3 (1)

3 = 3

y - 3 = 3x

9 - 3 = 3 (2)

6 = 6

__________________________________________________________

B.

y - 3 = 3x

0 - 3 = 3(3)

-3 = 6

You can tell that this one can't be one of the answer which means that B wont be the answer, so you don't have to do anymore work for this one.

__________________________________________________________

C.

y - 3 = 3x

3 - 3 = 3(1)

0 = 3

This one can't be an answer either

__________________________________________________________

D.

y - 3 = 3x

1 - 3 = 3(1)

-2 = 3

And this one can't be an answer either

__________________________________________________________

This concludes, that A will be the answer here since all of the ordered pair can be x and y when you use the inputs and outputs that were given.

Hope this helped!
