Following changes are made in graph of G(x) to obtain F(x)

1) Vertical stretch by a factor of 2
So, G(x) will be changed to 2G(x)

2) Shift towards Right by 2 units
So, 2G(x) will be changed to 2G(x - 2)

3) Upward shift by 2 units.
So, 2G(x - 2) will be changed to 2G(x - 2) + 2

Thus,

F(x) = 2G(x - 2) + 2
F(x) = 2(x - 2)² + 2

Therefore, option C is the correct answer

Vlad [161]

Answer:

1. d. Two sided t-test

2. b. 0.000193

3. a. Since p- value is very small we can conclude that the more soda the student drink the heavier they get.

4.  c. Test in inconclusive; thus we cannot claim that there is a correlation between drinking soda and weight.

Step-by-step explanation:

The hypothesis testing is used to test the claim against the alternative hypothesis. The p value is determined in order to conclude the result for the test as whether to accept or reject the null hypothesis. The null hypothesis can be accepted when the p value is greater than the critical value of the t-test.

Three friends each create 4 bags of starter bread dough. After ten days, each of those four bags is then divided into four more
adell [148]
If you add together all of the bags in total, you would have 24 bags (8+8+8), and the 3 friends will have four bags each in total. After another ten days you will have 96 bags of dough (24 x 4). After another ten days there will be 384 bags of dough, so at this point there will be 192 bags of dough available, assuming that the friends continue with the same method.

Find the least common multiple of x2 - 4x – 5 and x2 – 3x – 10.
castortr0y [4]

LCM is 3 (x + 1)(x - 5)(x + 2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given polynomials are:

x2 - 4x – 5 and x2 – 3x – 10.

Factorizing x^2-4x-5

x^2-4x-5\\= x^2-5x+x-5\\=x(x-5)+1(x-5)\\=(x+1)(x-5)

Factorizing  x^2 – 3x – 10

x^2 -3x -10\\=x^2-5x+2x-10\\=x(x-5)+2(x-5)\\=(x+2)(x-5)

Looking at the fators of both polynomials we can see:

The LCM will be the combination of all factors of polynomials. The factor that occurs in both factorization will be written only once

Hence,

LCM is 3 (x + 1)(x - 5)(x + 2)
