Sugar plus oxygen reacts together into carbon dioxide, water, and energy.

Explanation:

What the RxN tells me is that we take in sugar as well as oxygen, combine them together and react, and in turn produce carbon dioxide, water, and energy.

This makes sense, because we eat food and breathe in oxygen, so those are our reactants. When we exhale, we breathe out carbon dioxide and we go use the restroom to get rid of excess H₂O. The energy produced is used for our bodily movements.

During DNA replication a pair of chromosomes of from one cell genders two duplicated chromosomes (so the number of chromosomes is duplicated), then in the mitosis process the cell split into two identical cells each with half of the duplicated chromosomes, so at the end one cell with two chromosomes form two cells each with two chromosomes. So, the new generation of cells has the same number of chromosomes.
