Which of the following is true? Electrical impulses in the heart cause the muscles to contract. The time of electrical recovery

in the ventricles before a new heartbeat starts is known as ventricular depolarization. Muscle tissue in most body organs are able to stimulate their own contractions. The waves in the ECG cycle represent the number of heartbeats.

Answer:

The correct answer is: Electrical impulses in the heart cause the muscles to contract.

Explanation:

The heart contracts thanks to a series of electrical impulses that travel through the muscles of this organ. The electrical impulse begins in the SA (sinoatrial) node and is transmitted to the muscles that conform the left and the right atria to produce their contraction which will make the atria pump the blood to the ventricles. When the electrical impulse reaches the AV node and then the Bundle of His, this information will transmit to both ventricles and will produce their contraction as well.

The only muscle tissue capable of stimulating their own contractions is the muscle in the heart, the myocardium, thanks to the existence of "pacemaker cells" that are located in the SA node.

The waves in the ECG represent the depolarization of the atria, depolarization of the ventricles, and repolarization of the ventricles.

The means for transmission of disease-causing microorganism is provided by the ____.
Sergio039 [100]

Answer: The means for transmission of disease-causing microorganism is provided by the direct or indirect contact.

Microorganisms can cause disease only once they are transferred to the body. The disease causing microorganisms are termed as pathogens which are transmitted by several ways such as from skin to skin, by nuclei droplets, through blood and body fluids or via air. In vector transmissions the disease is carried by the parasitic insects via animals, air borne transmission occurs when microorganisms move through air or the dust particles, droplet transmission occurs by coughing, sneezing or talking by the person who is infected while indirect transmission occurs by physical contact or by touching contaminated objects.

HELP!! Examine the model depicting the relationship between photosynthesis and cellular respiration. Select ALL of the choices t
joja [24]

Answer:

water and oxygen

Explanation:

The model in the image depicts photosynthesis and cellular respiration processes. Photosynthesis involves the synthesis of glucose and oxygen from carbon dioxide and water while cellular respiration involves the production of carbon dioxide and water from glucose and oxygen. This means that both reactions are opposite of one another.

According to the model, B is the product of cellular respiration in the mitochondrion used by photosynthesis while D is the product of photosynthesis in the chloroplast used by cellular respiration. B is likely water (H2O) while D is likely oxygen based on the provided options.
