What are the steps for taking radial pulse?
wlad13 [49]
Have the person sit still with their hand resting stationery in a position below their heart. Locate their thumb and follow the Radius bone from the thumb toward their wrist. Just past their wrist use the pads of your index and middle finger to palpate the radius pulse just inside the radial bone on the distal end of the forearm. If you measure the pulse for 15 secs multiply by 4, 30 seconds multiply by 2, or measure a full minute to beats per minute. After an injury to an upper extremities, it is common to locate the radial pulse on both wrists at the same time to compare the strength of the pulse thus making sure circulation is good.

Discuss traits theory in detailed
leonid [27]

Answer:

In psychology, trait theory (also called dispositional theory) is an approach to the study of human personality. Trait theorists are primarily interested in the measurement of traits, which can be defined as habitual patterns of behavior, thought, and emotion. According to this perspective, traits are aspects of personality that are relatively stable over time, differ across individuals (e.g. some people are outgoing whereas others are not), are relatively consistent over situations, and influence behavior. Traits are in contrast to states, which are more transitory dispositions.

In some theories and systems, traits are something a person either has or does not have, but in many others traits are dimensions such as extraversion vs. introversion, with each person rating somewhere along this spectrum.

There are two approaches to define traits: as internal causal properties or as purely descriptive summaries. The internal causal definition states that traits influence our behaviours, leading us to do things in line with that trait. On the other hand, traits as descriptive summaries are descriptions of our actions that don't try to infer causality.

While trying to control aggressive behavior, a client asks an assertiveness training nurse to give an example of an "I statement
Dmitry [639]

Answer:

A. "I would like to know why you came home late without calling me."

Explanation:

Statement A, "I would like to know why you came home late without calling me.", is the best example of an assertive communication technique that expresses the concerns of the client in an honest and straightforward way without sounding rude, aggressive or jumping into conclusion quickly. In this way, the right of the other person would be respected while the client expresses his. The rest statements given as examples contain words that suggest aggression, such as “hate”, “angry”.
