I think the answer would be 8,518 pumpkin pies ( I would recommend getting a second opinion though )

to find out how many cups of pumpkin puree you have you need to multiply the 2,323 pounds of pumpkin times the amount of puree you can get from a pound.
That's 2,323 × (11÷4) = 2,323 × 2.75 = 6,388.25.
Then to find out how many pies you can make you need to divide the amount of puree you have by the amount required in a pie.
That's 6,388.25 ÷ ( 3÷4) = 6,388.25 ÷ 0.75 = 8,517.66666 ( there are way more sixes ).
You can't make .6 of a pie so you round it up.
You get 8,518.
I hope my answer helped and that it's right .

You plug in the values for x in each respective equation.

a) f(3) = 3 + 1 which equals: 4.
so, f(3) = 4

b) g(3) = (3)^2 - 3 which equals 9 - 3, which equals 6.
so, g(3) = 6.

hope this helps! (:

Point slope equations
Sholpan [36]

Answer:

The point slope equation is: y - y1 = m (x - x1)

m = slope

Step-by-step explanation:

To use this equation, you need to know:

- one point on the line

- the slope of the line

First:

(x1,y1) = a known point on the line

m = the slope

(x,y) = any other point on the line

Now:

we plug the numbers into the equation to get y - y1 = m (x - x1)

Then:

you solve the equation
