Answer:

Explanation:

it is based on le chatliers principles

the left side of reaction you have 4 moles , where as at the right hand side you have 2 moles,,,,

so when you increase the pressure the reaction will shift towards the lower moles producing reaction that is reaction move towards forward in you case.

How many moles of a solute is present in 4.00L of an 8.30M solution
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

The number of moles of solute present in 4.00 L of an 8.30 M solution is 33.2

Explanation:

The Molarity (M) or Molar Concentration is the number of moles of solute per liter of solution; in other words it is the number of moles of solute that are dissolved in a given volume.

The molarity of a solution is calculated by dividing the moles of the solute by the volume of the solution:

Molarity=\frac{number of moles of solute}{volume}

Molarity is expressed in units (\frac{moles}{liter}) or M.

In this case:

 • molarity= 8.30 M
 • number of moles of solute= ?
 • volume= 4.00 L

Replacing:

8.30 M=\frac{number of moles of solute}{4 L}

Solving:

number of moles of solute= 8.30 M* 4 L= 8.30 \frac{moles}{liter} * 4 L

number of moles of solute =33.2

The number of moles of solute present in 4.00 L of an 8.30 M solution is 33.2

What is the number of electrons shared between the atoms in I2 molecule (That is an i not a 1)
labwork [276]
Iodine is one of seven elements that usually form as diatomic molecules. These other "diatomics" are O_2, H_2, F_2, Br_2, N_2, and Cl_2. They typically bond to themselves.

Iodine has seven valence electrons. Using valence shell electron pair repulsion (VSEPR) theory, we can predict the Lewis dot structure for I_2. We see there are fourteen electrons, and we can make a covalent bond, leaving three lone pairs on each atom. The bond replaces two electrons, so the number of electrons shared is two.

A student is told that both energy and mass must be conserved in every chemical reaction. She measures the mass of Hydrochloric
KiRa [710]
I think the mass the mass was less than the original because a gas was released into the atmosphere. The mass in a chemical reaction is constant in a closed system according to conservation of mass law. However, if a chemical reaction is completed in an open system, mas changes may occur. In our case i think the change in mass was due to the release of hydrogen gas from the reaction to the atmosphere.
