Firstly we need to find perimeter of rectangle

P = 2(w + l) \\ P = 2(16 + 8) = 48

So the length of wire is 48in

Now we can find length of triangle's side.

All of sides are equal, so

l = 48 \div 3 = 16

Answer: the length of side is 16in

Answer:

8. A

First step is to distribute - to 6x and 3. Next u want to combine like terms. So 2x^2-6x^2 = -4x^2. Next 4x - 6x = -2x. Again 9 + 3 = 12. Combine and u get -4x ^2 - 2x +12

9. C

First you add 4x to both sides. Then you subtract 55 leaving -45 greater than or equal to 9x. Then you divide by nine and you get -5 is greater than or equal to x

10. B

First you distribute 5 so 15 -3x < -2x +6. Next add 2 to both sides. Then subtract 15 leaving -3x < -9. Least divide by -3 and you get x > 3(the sign was swapped bc dividing by a negative number means it has to)

11. B

For this you could just distribute the equations and we on that 7•4=28. And 7•5=35. I'm this case both of the numbers have to be negative so 7 has to be negative as well

12. C

Distribute -2/3 and you get 9q^2-2q+14/3+5q^2

Then combine like terms and 9q^2+5q^2=14q^2. Order them and ur answer is 14q^2-2q+14/3

What is the square root of –16?<br><br><br><br> –8i<br><br> –4i<br><br> 4i<br><br> 8i
Ad libitum [116K]

we know that

i^{2} =-1

we have

\sqrt{-16} =\sqrt{(-1)*(16)} =\sqrt{(-1)*(4^{2})}

substitute the value of i^{2}=-1 in the expression above

\sqrt{(-1)*(4^{2})}=\sqrt{i^{2}*4^{2}} \\ \\= 4i

therefore

<u>the answer is</u>

4i

Which r–value represents the strongest negative correlation?
densk [106]
The best answer to the statistics question above would be letter A. The r-value that represents the strongest negative correlation among the given choices would be -0.7. This is because the magnitude of the correlation ranges from .7 to .9 which indicates a strong correlation. The negative sign connotes the negative relationship.
