Because of its climate, it is one of the 15 countries with the lowest population density in the world, with approximately 4 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The northern region of Canada is literally in the Arctic Circle and in winter can reach temperatures close to 40 degrees below zero. In addition, the southern regions, both to the west in Vancouver, and to the east in Ottawa, Toronto or Montreal are basically extensions of North American cities across the border.

For this reason, only the southern part of the country is populated, due to the harsh weather conditions of the rest of the country.
