Answer:

Canada is the second largest country in the world after Russia, and also the northernmost. It occupies about half of the territory of North America. Because of its climate, it is one of the 15 countries with the lowest population density in the world, with approximately 4 inhabitants per square kilometer.

Explanation:

The northern region of Canada is literally in the Arctic Circle and in winter can reach temperatures close to 40 degrees below zero. In addition, the southern regions, both to the west in Vancouver, and to the east in Ottawa, Toronto or Montreal are basically extensions of North American cities across the border.

For this reason, only the southern part of the country is populated, due to the harsh weather conditions of the rest of the country.

Zina [86]

Today, I wished I were dead. We are crowded into a tiny space. Animals are given more room to live. I am chained to the men on either side of me. One is sick. He is burning with fever and groans constantly. When he dies, I will be chained to a dead man. I feel sick, too, but it is only the smell turning my stomach. My nose is filled with the odors of sickness and dirt and human waste. I would give anything for a breath of clean air. But I cannot ask. If I do, I will be whipped until I cannot stand. I am afraid I will not survive this journey.

Belzec, Sobibor, & Treblinka were all __________. A: located in Germany B: concentration camps C: extermination camps D: lib
Volgvan

Answer:

The answer is option (C) extermination camps.

Explanation:

Belzec is located in Poland precisely South West of Belzec's railway station in Belzec village. It was used as an extermination camp (killing centre) for the murder of Jews by Nazi Germany.

Sobibor is also located in Poland. Like Belzec, it was a death camp near a village called Sobibor. It was used by Nazi Germany to enslave, torture and kill Jews by gassing operation during the Holocaust.

Likewise, Treblinka is located in Poland. Treblinka was a killing centre in the village of Treblinka. Like the other two camps already mentioned, Treblinka was built by Germans when they occupied Poland during World War II. Nazi Germany murdered thousands of Jews in the camp by gassing them.
