Answer:

The most number of song she can get is 333.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x represents the points required for downloading a song and y represents the points required for a video,

Given,

The points required for five songs and seven videos is 295.

⇒ 5x + 7y = 295 -----(1)

Also, the points required for ten songs and three videos is 150.

⇒ 10x + 3y = 150 -----(2),

For finding the value of x we need to cancel out the value of y,

For this, 7 × Equation  (2) - 3 × equation (1),

We get,

55x = 165

x = 3

Hence, we need 3 points for downloading a song,

Since, we have 3 gift certificates, each worths 333 points

So, the total points = 3 × 333 = 999

Let s be the number of songs downloads by 999 points,

We can write,

3s = 999

⇒ s = 333

Therefore, maximum 333 songs can get with the certificates.

Can someone help me on this question?
notsponge [240]

Answer:

x = 19.6

Step-by-step explanation:

By applying cosine rule in ΔBCD,

cos(30)° = \frac{\text{Adjacent side}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}

              = \frac{BC}{BD}

\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}=\frac{BC}{16}

BC = 8\sqrt{3}

Now, by applying sine rule in ΔBAC,

sin(45)° = \frac{\text{Opposite side}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}

\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}=\frac{AB}{BC}

\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}=\frac{x}{8\sqrt{3}}

x = 8\sqrt{6}

x = 19.59

x ≈ 19.6

What’s the next step to solve the equation -2(n+3)= 9
elena-s [515]

Answer:

-15/2

Step-by-step explanation:

The next step would be to distribute the negative two through the parenthesis,

-2n-6=9

then you add the six, -2n= 15

then you divide by 15 by negative 2 and get -15/2
