________ can be written only once. The data cannot be erased or written over once it is saved.
notka56 [123]

Answer:

WORM (Write Once, Read Many)

Explanation:

The full meaning which means Write Once, Read Many implies that data can only be entered (or better put, written) once. Once the data has been written, the data can not be updated or deleted. However, the data being stored on WORM can be read as many times, as possible.

Hence, WORM answers the question.

Explain the developments RAM since it was created in 1968 til today.
xenn [34]

Answer:

From DRAM to DDR4

Explanation:

RAM stands for <em>Random Access Memory.</em> In 1968, Mr. Robert Dennard at IBM's Watson Research obtained the patent for the one-transistor cell that will eventually substitute the old magnetic core memory allocated in computers of the time. By 1969 Intel released the TTL bipolar 64-bit SRAM (Static Random-Access Memory) as well as the ROM "Read Only Memory"; also in 1969 it evolved into "<em>Phase - change memory - PRAM - </em>". However this evolution was not commercialized, Samsung expressed its interest in developing it. In 1970 the first DRAM product was commercially available; it was developed by Intel. In 1971 it was patented EPROM; in 1978 George Perlegos developed EEPROM.

By 1983 a nice breakthrough happened with the invention of SIMM by Wang Labs. In 1993 Samsung came up with KM48SL2000 synchronous DRAM (SDRAM), this variation soon turned into an inductry standard.

In 1996 DDR began a revolution in the memory sector, then in 1999 RDRAM. Both DDR2 SDRAM. DDRR3 and XDR DRAM were commercialized. Finally in 2007 and 2014 the developments of DDR3 and DDR4 were available for the general public.

For the Address Block 195.200.0.0/16 a. If you have 320 Customers that need 128 addresses/customer - will there be enough addres
Shkiper50 [21]

Answer / Explanation:

195.200.0.0/16

Note: Class C address can not be assigned a subnet mask of /16 because class c address has 24 bits assigned for network part.

2ⁿ = number of subnets

where n is additional bits borrowed from the host portion.

2ˣ - 2 = number of hosts

where x represent bits for the host portion.

Assuming we have 195.200.0.0/25

In the last octet, we have one bit for the network

number of subnets  = 2¹  =2 network addresses

number of host = 2⁷ - 2= 126 network addresses per subnets

You and your friend who lives far away want to fairly and randomly select which of the two of you will travel to the other’s hom
Phantasy [73]

Answer:

c. your friend can hash all possible options and discover your secret.

Explanation:

SHA-256 is a set of hash functions that was designed by the NSA. SHA-2 is considered an upgrade on the set that was its predecessor, SHA-1. A hash is a mathematical function that condenses data in a process of one-way encryption. SHA-256 creates hash algoritms that are considered irreversible and unique. However, one of the properties of hashing algorithms is determinism, which means that any computer in the world would be able to compute a particular hash and get the same answer.
