The leader was E.P. McCabe. He was a land developer, speculator, lawyer, and African American settler. In 1881 he acquired a 320 acre tract which became the town of Langston it was near Guthrie, Oklahoma. He made it an all black town. In 1897 he opened up a collage that was a black college called Langston Univercity. I don't know if this is correct or not but if it's not the moderators can just delete it Hope this helped - Ashlynn
