Put the numbers in place of the letters first so
2x= 2(6)
20-y= 20-17
so now solve
2(6)=12+20=32-17=15
So your answer would be 15

34% because to find the percentage you need to divide the amount in the time, 264, by the total amount of records, 778, and when you do that you get around .335, and convert that to a percentage you multiply it by 100, and you get 33.5%, but then you round it up to 34%.

The zeroes of the polynomial functions are as follows:

 • For the polynomial, f(x) = 2x(x - 3)(2 - x), the zeroes are 3, 2
 • For the polynomial, f(x) = 2(x - 3)²(x + 3)(x + 1), the zeroes are 3, - 3, and -1
 • For the polynomial, f(x) = x³(x + 2)(x - 1), the zeroes are -2, and 1

What are the zeroes of a polynomial?

The zeroes of a polynomial are the vales of the variable which makes the value of the polynomial to be zero.

The polynomials are given as follows:

f(x) = 2x(x - 3)(2 - x)

f(x) = 2(x - 3)²(x + 3)(x + 1)

f(x) = x³(x + 2)(x - 1)

For the polynomial, f(x) = 2x(x - 3)(2 - x), the zeroes are 3, 2

For the polynomial, f(x) = 2(x - 3)²(x + 3)(x + 1), the zeroes are 3, - 3, and -1

For the polynomial, f(x) = x³(x + 2)(x - 1), the zeroes are -2, and 1

In conclusion, the zeroes of a polynomial will make the value of the polynomial function to be zero.

Are parallel lines inconsistent
Gelneren [198K]
If a consistent system has an infinite number of solutions, it is dependent. When you graph the equations, both equations represent the same line. If a system has no solution, it is said to be inconsistent. The graphs of the lines do not intersect, so the graphs are parallel and there is no solution.

A rectangle has an area of 96 cm2 The length of the rectangle is 4 cm longer than the width. Work out the length and width of th
Svetach [21]
Area of a rectangle: 2(L+W)
length: 4+W

Area: 2(4+W) + 2W = 96
8+2W+2W = 96
8+4W = 96
4W = 88
W= 22cm

Calculate for length: 2L + 2(22) = 96
2L + 44 = 96
2L = 52
L = 26cm

• The length is 26cm and width is 22 cm.
