Let
x-------------> lbs. of cashews-------> <span>1 3/4 lbs------> (4+3)/4-----> 7/4 lbs
</span>y-------------> lbs. <span>of almonds-------> 5/8 lbs
</span>z-------------> lbs. of peanuts-------> <span>2 1/2 lbs--------> (2*2+1)/2-----> 5/2 lbs
</span>T-------------> total <span>pounds of nuts

we know that
T=x+y+z
T=[(7/4)+(5/8)+(5/2)]--------> (1/8)*[14+5+20]-----> </span>(1/8)*[39]=39/8 lbs

T=39/8=4.875 lbs----------> 4 7/8 lbs

the answer is  4 7/8 lbs

kkurt [141]

Answer:

250n + 1,000 ≥ 6,000

Step-by-step explanation:

You know that he makes 250 dollars per car her sells and he automatically makes 1000 per month. n is representing the number of cars he sold and that is multiplied by the worth of each car. If he needs a MINIMUM of 6000 dollars. he must make 6000 dollars or more which can also be shown as ≥. Hope this helped!

Question 3
Scilla [17]

Answer:

See Explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

The question is incomplete, as the vertices of the triangles is missing.

However, the following formula can be used to calculate distance;

d = \sqrt{(x_1 - x_2)^2 + (y_1 - y_2)^2}

Take for instance:

A = (1,8)

A' = (7,8)

The distance between both is:

d = \sqrt{(1- 7)^2 + (8- 8)^2}

d = \sqrt{(-6)^2 + 0^2}

d = \sqrt{36 + 0}

d = \sqrt{36}

Take square root

d = 6
