The economy is unstable and we can't really rely on ourselves. We import too much. Also, we are still healing our wounds from war. Generations get more argumentative because of this, hurting us even more, so I'd say we need to worry about carrying each other. I apologize for our broken economy, but this is how it's become.
I don't believe that it will be viable by the time i am a senior, because the USA is so in debt, and they are having enough trouble as it is, supporting today's retirees and seniors. I wish it would be viable, but it is highly unlikely the government will not be able to support it.
