Advertisements can create conflict in several ways. A method of advertising is to provide a sexual appeal. This is where a desirable figure is shown to catch a potential buyer's attention along with persuading them to buy a product or service. Companies that use sexual appeal often sell products that people use for their bodies, such as body wash or clothing. This is controversial because many people may not want themselves or their children to be seeing people or figures depicted in a sexual way in public.

Another way that advertisements could lead to controversy is with political views. Political campaigns often display their most extreme policies to grab a viewer's attention, perused the population, or spread information about their cause. Not everyone may agree with a political group's views, especially when it comes to the more heavy topics such as immigration, abortion, or gun ownership laws.

I understand this is significantly more information than the answer requires, but I hope I gave you plenty of information to create your own paragraph to avoid plagiarism. Have a nice day, good luck with finals!
