so.. when the quantity is $\bf -\cfrac{{{ b}}}{2{{ a}}}$ , is when the profit $\bf {{ c}}-\cfrac{{{ b}}^2}{4{{ a}}}$  is the highest

after that, as you can see from the graph, it goes back down
