Because of the baseball schedule, Stanley’s trial was delayed several months. His parents couldn’t afford a lawyer. “You don’t n

eed a lawyer,” his mother had said. “Just tell the truth.”
Stanley told the truth, but perhaps it would have been better if he had lied a little. He could have said he found the shoes in the street. No one believed they fell from the sky.

Based on this flashback, how does Stanley feel about what happened in the past?

Based on the dreams that the speaker describes, it is reasonable to infer that the speaker is hopeful all people will experience
Solnce55 [7]

Answer:

A. is hopeful all people will experience the same freedoms he enjoys.

Explanation:

Below is the excerpt from "I Dream a World" by Langston Hughes.

A world I dream where black or white,

Whatever race you be,

Will share the bounties of the earth

And every man is free,

Where wretchedness will hang its head

And joy, like a pearl,

Attends the needs of all mankind—

Of such I dream, my world!

The speaker in this poem actually infers that he is hopeful all people will experience the same freedoms he enjoys.

This can be seen from the concluding part of the excerpt where he said,

"Of such I dream, my world!"

This means it's actually something he is enjoying which he wants people to join - in his world.

"I Dream A World" is a poem written by Langston Hughes, an American writer of Harlem Renaissance. He made the African-Americans to have an experience of the subject of his writings.

In My opinion i think he was right, plus it was his work anyways. Destroying things can be fun. "the urge to destroy is also a creative urge". Some people destroy things for fun, some people destroy things because they're mad, but him/her did it because they didnt want there art to be for sale.
