Two teams of nine members each engage in a tug of war. Each of the first team’s members has an average mass of 65 kg and exerts

an average force of 1354 N horizontally, on the ground. Each of the second team’s members has an average mass of 71 kg and exerts an average force of 1364 N horizontally, on the ground. What is the magnitude of the acceleration of the two teams?

Answer:

.team 1 a = 20.8 m/s²   team 2  a = 19.2 m/s²

Explanation:

Let's use Newton's second law to calculate the acceleration of the two groups

      F = ma

      a = F / M

Group 1

      a = 9 1354/9 65

      a = 20.8 m / s²

Group 2

     a = 9 1364/9 71

     a = 19.2 m / s²

If the two groups pull against each other, group 1 should win, by creating a greater acceleration.

     Δa = 20.8 -19.2

     Δa = 1.6 m / s²

Hypothetically speaking, if an object were located at the center of the Earth, the gravitational force on that object due to the
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer:

D. ) The force would be zero newtons

Explanation:

Because

If you are at the center of the earth, gravity is zero because all the mass around you is pulling "up" (every direction there is up!)

So F=mg so if g is zero F is also zero

Passive leisure activities, such as watching TV or going to the movies, require little to no physical or mental energy. Because of the exertion of physical or mental energy, active leisure activities have more health benefits than passive leisure activities." hope it help you?:)
