How many eights are in two and a half

This is saying how many (1/8) are in 2   1/2

This is saying how many (1/8) are in  (5/2).      Changing 2   1/2 to improper fraction.

This is solving (5/2)    ÷  (1/8)

                   = 5/2  ×  8/1   =   5 × 4 = 20

So there are 20.

Answer:

Equation: y = 2x + 25

Step-by-step explanation:

Here x determines the number of year. For the first year,we will see ( 2 * 1 ) = $2 increase. In the second year, ( 2 * 2 ) =$4 increase and like this goes on, whereas the $25 being constant. "y" determines the total cost for each year.

Therefore the equation can be made: y = 2x + 25

It is believed that as many as 23% of adults over 50 never graduated from high school. We wish to see if this percentage is the
dolphi86 [110]

Answer: here are 48 adults of this younger age group.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Error = 0.10

p = 23% = 0.23

At 90% level of significance, i.e. α = 0.10

So, the value of z = 1.645

n=(\dfrac{z}{E})^2p(1-p)\\\\n=(\dfrac{1.645}{0.1})^2(0.23)(1-0.23)\\\\n=270.6025\times 0.23\times 0.77\\\\n=47.92\\\\n\approx 48

Hence, there are 48 adults of this younger age group.

What is the measure of WX shown in the diagram below
aleksandr82 [10.1K]
Angle S = (Angle TR - Angle WX )/2

Replace the known angles:
41 = (114 - Angle WX) /2

Multiply both sides by 2:
82 = 114 - Angle WX

Solve for WX:
WX = 114 - 82
WX = 32

The answer is D.
