Answer:

Equivalent expression of 60x−24 in distributive property is

12 × (5x - 2) = 12 ×5x - 12 × 2 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Distributive property

Let us assume that the a, b, c are any number .

than  a (b+c) = a.b + a.c

This property is called distributive property .

As given the expression

= 60x - 24

It is written as in the distributive property form .

12 × (5x - 2) = 12 ×5x - 12 × 2

Therefore the equivalent expression of 60x−24 in distributive property is

12 × (5x - 2) = 12 ×5x - 12 × 2 .

You can take out a 12 from each factor as they can both be divided by 12. That leaves you with 12(5x-2) if you applied the distribution property, you'd end up with the same answer you started with.

One gram of water has a volume of 1 millimeter. What is the volume of the water if it has a mass of 1 kilogram
Zinaida [17]
There are 1,000 grams in a kilogram.
Each gram of water has a volume of 1 milliliter (the question said millimeter but that measures length and I think it was meant to say milliliter).
Since there are 1,000 grams with a volume of 1 millimeter each, the volume is 1,000 milliliters, which is equal to 1 liter.
Hope this helps!

Wittaler [7]

Answer:

The coordinates of the image of vertex P after reflection is  (-7, 4)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that we are to reflect the point P across the x-axis, we have;

Reflection of a point across the x-axis gives;

When a point is reflected across the x axis, the y-coordinate changes to the opposite sign while the x-coordinate remains unchanged  such that (x, y) becomes (x, -y)

Therefore, given that the point P = (-7, -4), we have;

Coordinates of point P before reflection Reflection = (-7, -4), coordinates of point P after reflection Reflection P' = (-7, 4).
