Subtract 128.49 from 264.72 and you end up getting to answer of 136.23. The tenths place is the number directly after the decimal. In your answer from the subtraction problem, the tenths place is the number 2. In order to round, it's easiest to look at the number directly to the right of the number that you are trying to round. Look at the number 3, directly to the right of the number in the tenths place. Since 3 is less than 5, the number that you are rounding stays the same. If the number were to be above 5, then the number that you are trying to round would go up 1 in value. In the end, your answer would be C. 136.2. I hope this makes some type of sense and helps you in the future!

Find the distance between the points (11, 4) and (10, 5).
alexdok [17]

Answer:

square root of 2 or if needed simplified, 1.414213 to the nearest millionth.

Step-by-step explanation:

Start with the equation d= square root of (11-10)^2+(4-5)^2 where that is simplified to square root of (1)^2+(-1)^2 to square root of 1+1 to your final answer, square root of 2. Also simplified to 1.414213.

Answer: Choice D

Divide both sides of the first equation by 7, then add the result to the second equation

=======================================================

Explanation:

We can multiply both sides of an equation by the same number and the equation will be equivalent to the original.

For example, if we had x = 5, then we could get 2x = 10 after multiplying both sides by 2. The reason they are equivalent equations is because the same x value is the solution for both equations.

We can also divide both sides of an equation by the same number and the two equations would be equivalent. We can go from 2x = 10 back to x = 5 when we divide both sides by 2.

----------

If we divide both sides of 7x - 21y = 14 by 7, then we end up with x - 3y = 2. Simply divide each term (7x, -21y, and 14) by 7.

Because 7x-21y=14 and x-3y=2 are equivalent, this means we can replace the "7x-21y=14" with "x-3y=2"

--------

The new system would be

x-3y = 2

2x+3y = 11

From here you add straight down. Doing so will have the y terms add to -3y+3y = 0y = 0. After this point the y terms are eliminated and you can solve for x just like with any other equation of one variable.

Answer:

the third option would be the best

1/10 + 3/8 = 19/40 = .475

correct answer------------ 1/6 + 1/8 = 7/24 = .291

2/9 + 1/8 = 25/72 = .347

Suppose the radius of circle a is equal to the diameter of circle
o-na [289]
We've all seen circles before. They have this perfectly round shape, which makes them perfect for hoola-hooping!Every circle has a center, which is a point that lies exactly at the... well... center of the circle. A circle is a shape where distance from the center to the edge of the circle is always the same:
