Area of a circle is πr². (The formula is easy to recall if you just remember the joke--πr²--no, pie are round!)

So we must calculate the difference of the areas to determine what the horse cannot reach.

As we are given the garden's diameter, we must divide it in half to get its radius. The rope, of course, already represent a radius.

π25² - π5² = π(25² - 5²) = π(625 - 25) = π600
= 1885 square meters.

Use a area model to find the product 28 time 32
kiruha [24]

Answer: The answer is 896.

Step-by-step explanation: There are several ways to answer this. If you multiply both the 28 and the 32 you get the final answer 896 quickly.

However there are different ways to get the answer that aren't as quick as this one.

First we multiply.

30*20=600

Then we continue multiplying.

8*30=240

20*2=40

8*2=16

Then we add all the values up starting with the hundreds

600+240=840.

40+16=56

Finally we add both of the values up and we get our answer 840+56=896.

A=896 Hope this helps!
