Her first mistake was in step 2.

When taking an absolute value of some number let’s say x, equals to the distance it is from 0
So |x| = x as well as |-x|=x because they have the same distance from 0. 2 and -2 are both 2 unit from 0.

So in the problem, her second step was to add |-2| and |6| to get her first distance. She was supposed to remove the | | by taking the absolute value of |-2|, which is makes the equation 6+2 because |-2|=2. She just removed the signs without applying the function. Her answer should’ve been 8 for that distance not 4. Therefore her area should have been 32, not 16.

The best way to convert 12.5% into a fraction is to write it as 12.5/100. To get rid of the decimal, simply multiply 12.5/100 by 2, since .5 * 2 is 1. Now you have 25/200.

What is the value of A when we rewrite 3.14^159x as A^x?
slavikrds [6]

The rule we'll use is

p^(q*r) = (p^q)^r

The exponents have been rearranged a bit.

In this case, p = 3.14, q = 159 and r = x, so,

p^(q*r) = (p^q)^r

3.14^(159*x) = (3.14^159)^x

This is in the form A^x with A = 3.14^159

Answer:

m∠1 = 39.5°

m∠2 = 39.5°

m∠3 = 50.5°

m∠4 = 50.5°

Step-by-step explanation:

m∠1 = 39.5° (Given)

m∠2 = m∠1 = 39.5° (∠1 ≅ ∠2)

m∠3 = 90° - 39.5° = 50.5° (∠1 and ∠3 are complementary)

m∠4 = m∠3 = 50.5° (∠1 ≅ ∠2, ∠2 and ∠4 are complementary)
