The three things Allie can do is:

- Renting the DVD rather than purchasing it.

Since she and her friends are most likely only watch the movie one time, renting it is much cheaper.

- Do not order more pizza that she need to.

Since Allie is the host that invite her friends , Allie is socially expected to provide the foods and drinks for the guests. That's being said, that is not an excuse to order more food that she needs

- Use coupons.

Restaurants often give food or discounts for large orders like this. Allie needs to use them in order to save as much money as possible.
