Critical listening is a type of listening that involves judgment, analysis, and critical evaluation. When a person makes the judgment during the time of listening it is considered to understand the person thinking. But critical thinking does occur when a person still wants to listen and understand the feeling and speech of a person. The person has the responsibility to understand what is being said to you and how the communication occurred. But if we talk about the expert advice then they demean the value of critical thinking because it happened in everyday life and people listening critically happened every day.
A democracy where the citizens don't rule directly (such as in Switzerland, through referendums) is representative democracy, as opposed to a direct democracy.
