minutes it takes for plans to cost same amount= 5÷0.02 = 250 min

Step-by-step explanation:

There is a 1/5 chance she spins a 1. (1/5 = 20% = 0.2)

She spins 20 times:

Jim runs 12 miles in 4 hours how many feet does he run per minute
hjlf

h= number of hours

m= number of miles

Formula: 4h=12m

(4 hours equals 12 miles)

Divide 4 on each side.

h= 3m

3 miles per hour.

Then, convert miles to feet. And hours to minute.

To do this simultaneously,

Convert miles to feet and hours to minutes.

There should be 3 "fractions" to multiply.

The first should be the original problem:

3miles/1 hour. (3 miles per hour).

The second should be 1 hour/60min. (1 hour per 60 min).

The third should be 5280 ft/1 mile. (5280 feet per mile).

The second and the third fractions are to convert miles to feet and the hours to minutes.

Suppose the equation of the axis of symmetry for a quadratic function is x = 3 and one of the x-intercepts is 8. What is the oth
soldi70 [24.7K]

Answer:

-2

Step-by-step explanation:

The axis of symmetry divides the quadratic exactly in half. If one x-intercept is 8, then the other will be the same distance on the other side of it. 8 is 5 from 3 where the axis of symmetry is. So 3-5 = -2. -2 will be the other intercept.
