Answer:

You want the curve to be decreasing from left to right since they are decreasing the amount spent so we can eliminate options 2 and 3. The initial amount (when x = 0) has to be 12 so the answer is the last option.

Is it possible for two linear functions whose graph are parallel to have the same y-intercept
soldier1979 [14.2K]
If you have e two linear functions and on a graph they are parallel that means they have the same slope with different y intercepts. If they are parallel and have the same y intercept then they would be the same graph. So no it’s not possible because there would not be two different graphs/functions; they would be exactly the same.

A punter kicks a football into the air with an initial velocity of 84 feet per second. The equation
dolphi86 [110]

Answer:

84feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the height of the ball modelled by the equation h(t)=16t²+84 after t secs. At the maximum height, the velocity of the ball is zero.

Velocity V is the change of rate of displacement.

V = dh/dt = 32t

0 = 32t

t = 0secs

at t = 0;

h(0) = 16(0)²+84

h(0) = 84feet

This shows that the maximum height of the ball is 84feet
