The correct answer is - C) Middle Eastern.

The societies in the Middle East region in the western part of Asia, are closely associated with Islam. In fact, all countries in this region, apart from Israel, are countries where the absolute majority of the population is practicing Islam as their religion. It is no wonder that this region is almost totally dominated by the Islamic societies, it is the region where this religion emerged after all, and where it managed to unify the different tribes under its wings.

The Islam emerged in what is now Saudi Arabia, in the seventh century AD, and under the leadership of the prophet Muhammad it spread out extremely quickly, and even after his death, the Caliphs managed to spread out even further and influence even bigger region.

C) Middle Eastern

The society that is MOST closely associated with Islam is the Middle Eastern culture. Followers of Islam consider the Qur'an to be the literal word of God--Muslims believe that the verses of the Qur'an were revealed to Muhammad by God between 610 and 632 CE.

The signers of the declaration of independence knew that their announcement could mean war with powerful, why isn’t that idea mo
ladessa [460]

The signers of the Declaration of Independence were not afraid of what would come because they knew that their grievances were legitimate. They presented valid facts of why they should separate and declare their own independence. They noted that they would be ready for a longer struggle if they did not yield

Why did southern states begin to talk more about secession after Kansas became a state?
kramer
Secession, as it applies to the outbreak of the American Civil War, comprises the series of events that began on December 20, 1860, and extended through June 8 of the next year when eleven states in the Lower and Upper South severed their ties with the Union. The first seven seceding states of the Lower South set up a provisional government at Montgomery, Alabama. After hostilities began at Fort Sumter in Charleston Harbor on April 12, 1861, the border states of Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee, and North Carolina joined the new government, which then moved its capital to Richmond, Virginia. The Union was thus divided approximately on geographic lines. Twenty-one northern and border states retained the style and title of the United States, while the eleven slave states adopted the nomenclature of the Confederate States of America.

Did the banning of drugs in War on Drugs in the US decrease the drug use in the US?
amm1812

Answer:

I believe the answer is no.

Explanation:

My reasoning for this, is the only thing that any war does for Drug Cartels, is make them ramp up production, and increase prices.  Also, bans on anything, only ensure that the thing being banned (as we can see with the alcohol ban in America History) will be greatly used.  The only thing that can truly decrease the amount of drugs being used, is the people in the population.

Whom may the president remove from office "at will" (i.e., for any reason whatsoever)? (select all that apply)?
kompoz [17]

The 1930’s and 1940’s witnessed a great growth in Federal bureaucracy. From this time, unelected officials from this bureaucracy have proved on occasions to be in competition with the president. Likewise, a president has to keep a close eye on the unelected Cabinet Secretaries who head each Executive department – virtually an impossible task due to the size of the Executive staff and the frequency with which these personnel have to be left to operate without someone metaphorically looking over their shoulders. Though those who head the Executive are hand picked by the president, he still needs as much skill in handling these people as he does with handling Congress.
