cambrian explosion happened about 550million years ago. grand canyon was formed by the Colorado river about 20million years ago so the fossils from the CE would be in the bottom half of the canyon.


the organisms lived in a marine environment for them to be trapped in sedimentary rocks n formed fossils. they would be multi-cell organisms and many of them no longer exist today.
