Answer:

The term is called email address.

Explanation:

  • Email address is a combination of alphanumeric characters that uniquely identifies a person's email account over the internet.
  • This email address enables a person to send and receive emails.
  • Without the email address you cannot send an email message to someone online or cannot receive email from anyone if you don't have an email address.
  • The format for email address comprises of the two main parts which are user name and domain name.
  • User name is the first part of the email address that comes before @ symbol. It is a unique name. It can be anything from your real name to your company's name etc.
  • The last part of the email address that comes after @ symbol is domain name. Domain name is an identifier for the mail server for example yahoo is the mail server whereas .com is another part of the domain which classifies the domain for a certain type of content for example .edu is used for educational institutions email addresses.
  • @ symbol separates the user name from the domain name.
  • For example [email protected] is an example of an email address.

100 POINTS. DO NOT SPAM. OR I WILL REPORT.
Dafna1 [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

In digital image processing, degradation is a process of introducing defects to the image. Understanding the degradation function will allow restoration of the original image.

There are many different causes for image degradation such as motion blur, digital noise and lens off-focus. In cases like motion blur, it is possible to come up with an very good estimate of the actual blurring function and "undo" the blur to restore the original image. For digital noise, a statistical model can be set up to compensate for the degradation it caused.  Similarly  lens focus can be compensate by an optical model if the mis-focus is known.

The above are three degradations that I could find. A lot more information can be found about restoration functions. If you search for image degradation online, you will find a discussion on Quora and an interesting introduction from Rice University. Good luck!

Determine whether or not the following pairs of predicates are unifiable. If they are, give the most-general unifier and show th
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer:

a) P(B,A,B), P(x,y,z)

=> P(B,A,B) , P(B,A,B}

Hence, most general unifier = {x/B , y/A , z/B }.

b. P(x,x), Q(A,A)

No mgu exists for this expression as any substitution will not make P(x,x), Q(A, A) equal as one function is of P and the other is of Q.

c. Older(Father(y),y), Older(Father(x),John)

Thus , mgu ={ y/x , x/John }.

d) Q(G(y,z),G(z,y)), Q(G(x,x),G(A,B))

=> Q(G(x,x),G(x,x)), Q(G(x,x),G(A,B))

This is not unifiable as x cannot be bound for both A and B.

e) P(f(x), x, g(x)), P(f(y), A, z)

=> P(f(A), A, g(A)), P(f(A), A, g(A))

Thus , mgu = {x/y, z/y , y/A }.

Explanation:

Unification: Any substitution that makes two expressions equal is called a unifier.

a) P(B,A,B), P(x,y,z)

Use { x/B}

=> P(B,A,B) , P(B,y,z)

Now use {y/A}

=> P(B,A,B) , P(B,A,z)

Now, use {z/B}

=> P(B,A,B) , P(B,A,B}

Hence, most general unifier = {x/B , y/A , z/B }

b. P(x,x), Q(A,A)

No mgu exists for this expression as any substitution will not make P(x,x), Q(A, A) equal as one function is of P and the other is of Q

c. Older(Father(y),y), Older(Father(x),John)

Use {y/x}

=> Older(Father(x),x), Older(Father(x),John)

Now use { x/John }

=> Older(Father(John), John), Older(Father(John), John)

Thus , mgu ={ y/x , x/John }

d) Q(G(y,z),G(z,y)), Q(G(x,x),G(A,B))

Use { y/x }

=> Q(G(x,z),G(z,x)), Q(G(x,x),G(A,B))

Use {z/x}

=> Q(G(x,x),G(x,x)), Q(G(x,x),G(A,B))

This is not unifiable as x cannot be bound for both A and B

e) P(f(x), x, g(x)), P(f(y), A, z)

Use {x/y}

=> P(f(y), y, g(y)), P(f(y), A, z)

Now use {z/g(y)}

P(f(y), y, g(y)), P(f(y), A, g(y))

Now use {y/A}

=> P(f(A), A, g(A)), P(f(A), A, g(A))

Thus , mgu = {x/y, z/y , y/A }.
