6 0

Answer:

2

Explanation:

When the problem talks about fastest rate, it means where is the line the steepest.

At the first point, the population is growing pretty slowly; the line is pretty flat.

When you get to the second point, the line is suddenly really steep. (You don't need to know this yet, but you can also say that the slope of the line is very steep; and the slope at the second point is greater than the slope at the first, third, or fourth points.)

At the third point, the line isn't growing that much again; it's at the top of a mountain, which can be pointy but you can't really call it steep.

Finally, the fourth one is actually going down, so obviously the population is not growing at all.

What is the effect of an emulsifier on the digestion of lipids
snow_lady [41]

Answer:

Emulsifier generally reduces the surface tension of the lipid  there by helping in the digestion of the lipid molecules.

Explanation:

Bile that is secreted from liver act as emulsifier because the bile helps in the break down of lipid into small molecules to form micelle thereby reducing the surface tension of the lipid molecules.

Due the formation of micelle the broken down lipid molecules binds to the active site of the lipase enzyme and get digested to form fatty acid and glycerol.

Beside digestion Emulsifier Bile also helps in the absoption of lipid from the small intestine.

If the outside temperature decreases by 20 degrees Celsius, what will happen to a reptile’s body temperature?
oksian1 [2.3K]

The reptile's body temperature rises when the external temperature rises. When the temperature drops, so does his body temperature. If a reptile feels cold because the external temperatures have made his blood cold, he'll lie in the sun to warm up. However, if the external temperature is too high, he scurries under a rock, dives in a pool or finds some kind of shade where he can cool down. Reptiles and other animals with ectothermic systems are vulnerable to extreme changes in temperature because they can't control their temperatures internally. They can control their body temperatures only by moving to an environment with a suitable ambient temperature.
