How can i write a 5 paragraph article

In case your teacher didn’t give u a template I usually use something like this if it’s a dbq type essay.

Intro:
1. Hook sentence
2. 2-4 sentences of background info that might be helpful.
3. A thesis (your answer to the question being asked and 3 reasons that support your answer.

Body Paragraphs (you should have 3):
1. Baby thesis (this is my reason for my answer to the question)
2. Evidence that backs up my reason (could be a quote or description)
3. Reasoning (2-3+ sentences explaining how the evidence proves your point)
* side note: the paragraphs should be in the same order that they are said in the thesis that’s in the intro paragraph
**another side note: the evidence can come after the reasoning if you want it to

Conclusion:
1. 1-2 sentences summing up the body paragraphs.
2. Concluding sentence that ties in the main question once again (sometimes a question would work for this)

Use an MLA format as your rough draft and work from there it would help you organize your essay a little bit easier so whatever your teacher gave you as the format they want you to do you will already know we’re everything is supposed to go
