The Georgia colony would make money for Great Britain by plantations which grew indigo, rice, and sugar. They also exported and imported by trading all of the things they grew.
Personally I feel that it would be more difficult today. Yes I understand the bad conditions of soldiers in the revolutionary war due to bad hygiene and etc. But taking into consideration, the soldiers today are likely fighting jihadists that want nothing to do with America and will pretty much do anything to kill their enemies, hence us.
