The line is parallel so the slope is the same. So the slope = 2
Using a point-slope equation we have
y-y1 = 2(x-x1)
plug in the points
y-1 = 2(x-(-2))
=> y = 2x + 4 - 1
=> y = 2x +3

Answer:

1. A

2. B

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Only option A creates that graph, the other options are either backwards or are on top of each other.

2. Because the two lines are parallel, and do not intersect at all, there will be 0 solutions.

In a Parallelogram CARS , <C = 5x-20 and <A = 3x+20. Find the value of x ?
coldgirl [10]

Given that

In a Parallelogram CARS ,∠C = (5x-20)°

∠A = (3x+20)°

angle C and angle A are adjacent angles

We know that

In a Parallelogram the adjacent angles are supplementary.

⇛∠C + ∠A = 180°

⇛ (5x-20)°+(3x+20)° = 180°

⇛5x°-20°+3x°+20° = 180°

⇛(5x°+3x°)+(20°-20°) = 180°

⇛8x°+0 = 180°

⇛8x° = 180°

⇛ x° = 180°/8

⇛ x° = 22.5°

Answer:-The value of x = 22.5°

Which statement is false?
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:Choice A) All points with an x-value of 3 are located in Quadrant I.

We can show it is false through the use of a counter example. For instance, the point (3, -5) is not in quadrant 1, but rather in quadrant 4.

We would need to say "all points with x value 3 and positive y value" to ensure the point is in quadrant 1.
