Like terms are going to have the EXACT same variables....or they can just be constants with no variables.

x^2 and 3x^2 are like terms
x^2 and x^3 are not like terms
8 and 9 are like terms
8x and 9y are not like terms

so ur like terms in ur problem are : 2y^3 and y^3

GrogVix [38]

Answer:

12.2%

Step-by-step explanation:

Her total paycheck minus her salary = the commission amount

G=b(a + D2)<br><br> Solve for A
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

a = \frac{g}{b} - D_{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the literal equation, g = b(a + D_{2})

To solve for a:

Multiply both sides of the equation by \frac{1}{b}:

(\frac{1}{b}) g = (\frac{1}{b}) b (a + D_{2})

\frac{g}{b} = a + D_{2}

Next, subtract D_{2} on both sides of the equation to solve for a:

\frac{g}{b} - D_{2}  = a + D_{2} - D_{2}

\frac{g}{b} - D_{2}  = a

what is the surface area of cylinder with base radius 4 and height 7? either enter an exact answer in term of pi or use for 3.14
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The surface area of the sides of the cylinder is A = 2πrh, where r is the radius and h is the height.

Here this comes out to A = 2π(4)(7) = 56 π units^2

If you also want the combined area of the two ends (top and bottom of the cylinder), here's the calculation:

A = 2πr² = 2π(4 units)² = 32π units²
