Mutation in single gene causes monogenic mutations. These genetic changes are passed to the progeny. the mutations can also happen on its own. Gene mutation causes affects pancreas and lowers its ability to make insulin.  

The causes of type one diabetes are still unknown but several risk factors that cause it has been identified. The risk of getting type One diabetes increases with certain gene variants such as HLA-DQ1, HLA-DRB1 and HLA-DQB1. These genes are responsible for providing instruction to protein that play a vital role in immune system.

Explanation:during the second world war groups of japanese citizens were sent to a americanized form of concentration camps almost all had  nothing to do with the war in the east. But the african americans had great progress being able to fly planes for the army and being very efficient protecting most of there assigned bombers in formation but for the most part they did not see much real action in the front considered inferior to white soldiers.
