Complete Question

On the uploaded image is a similar question that will explain the given question

Answer:

The value of k is  k  =  214285.7

The percentage  of the oil that will be cleaned is x = 80.77\%

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The  cost of cleaning up the spillage is  C =  \frac{ k  x  }{100 -  x }  x \le x  \le  100

     The  cost of cleaning x =  70% of the oil is  C =  \$500,000

Now at  C =  \$500,000 we have

       \$  500000 =  \frac{ k   * 70   }{100 -  70 }

       \$  500000 =  \frac{ k   * 70   }{30 }

      \$  500000 =  \frac{ k   * 70   }{30 }

      k  =  214285.7

Now  When  C =  \$900,000

       x = 80.77\%

Why can't you have a shoe size of 4.5 and a height of 72 inches?
liq [111]

Answer:

Ok, lemme say something.

4.5 shoes are for 9 inch feet.

Dont think a 6 foot person is gonna fit tbh.

Step-by-step explanation:

A shoe size is for relation to feet size. Your feet grow from your height too, along with weight. If you are 6 feet, your feet are gonna be more than at least 1 foot.

4.5 shoes are for 9 inch feet

1 foot = 12 inches.

12 > 9.

12-9=3.
