Spleen

The spleen is located under the diaphragm and behind the stomach. It can get enlarged during an infection.

Explanation:

The spleen is a large lymph organ. It is highly vascularized and contains a meshwork that sieves out old and misshaped erythrocytes.  It acts as a quality control measure for red blood cells.  The organs has macrophages that engulf and digest the red blood cells that fail quality control and foreign matter. The spleen stores the iron the cell as bilirubin and is recycled yo make new blood cells in the red bone marrow.

The spleen also stores red blood cells hence your spleen helps you recover blood cells (and maintain the right blood pressure) when you lose a considerable amount of blood from a deep cut.

Answer:

that would be the correct option.

Explanation:

A tonic receptor is one that is activated when the action potentials were maintained over time and during the signaling of the receptor.

Tone receptors require continuous stimulation over a period of time to trigger a response and deliver it to the central nervous system.

It keeps the nervous system constantly active in the environment that surrounds it.

They are slowly adaptable, an example of these receptors are the merkel and ruffini receptors.
