Answer:

The nucleus of a cell contains deoxyribonucleic acid DNA, which is the physical carrier of inheritance.

Explanation:

DNA is a double helical structure present in the cells of all living organisms as a basis of the information for the inheritance, growth , maintenance and repair.  It is made up of four nitrogen bases known as adenine, thymine, cytosine and guanine. Each of these bases are arranged in an organised manner while they are attached to a sugar moiety and a phosphate backbone to form the complex double helical structure. During the event of a cell division the DNA is copied and is equally distributed into all the daughter cells .

Cathy placed a sample of yeast , a single celled eukaryotes, in a closed test tube containing a solution of glucose. How will th
maxonik [38]
Yeast is very similar to human cells in that we have the same cellular respiration process. The formula for cellular respiration is C6H12O6(Glucose) + O2(Oxygen) = CO2(Carbon dioxide) + H2O
Because of this we know that the yeast is going to take oxygen from the air and the glucose in the test tube and produce carbon dioxide with it, so the full answer would be “The composition of the air in the test tube would change so that there is a higher composition of CO2.” If you need to explain it more pull from my explanation :)

white blood cells; formed elements involved in body protection that take part in inflammatory and immune responses are:
svetoff [14.1K]

Neutrophils They kill and then digest the bacteria and the fungi. They are the most numerous type of the white blood cell and your first line of the defense when the infection strikes.

A high level of neutrophils in the blood is called neutrophilia. This is a sign that your body is infected. Neutrophilia can indicate many underlying conditions and factors, including: Infection, possibly bacteria. They capture and destroy invading microbes through phagocytosis and intracellular degradation, release of granules, and formation of neutrophil extracellular traps upon detection of pathogens. Neutrophils are also involved as inflammatory mediators. What is the most common cause of high neutrophils? infection. This is the most common cause of high neutrophil counts. Most bacterial infections cause elevated neutrophil counts, but not all. Viral infections generally do not cause neutrophilia, but it can occur early in the infection.
