When do the people living in houses on the edge of the ecosystem spray general purpose insecticide to kill a wide rangeOf insect
Katen [24]

The manila grasshopper has several benefits to ecosystem and humans.

 • In general it facilitates decomposition and regrowth of plants by creating a balance between the types of plants that grow well.
 • Like other animals, grasshopper eats and excretes in the soil. Its waste increases the fertility of the soil and promotes plant growth.
 • Grasshopper body is rich in protein, on its death microorganisms break down its body and enrich the soil and helps plants to grow.
 • Grasshoppers prevent over growth of plants as it consume about 10% of the available plant biomass, thus maintain ecological balance.

PLEASE HELP!! i need help with this for biology i’m desperate please
Vanyuwa [196]

As per the demonstration of Griffith and Avery, it can be concluded that the given experiment finding supports hypothesis III, i.e. genetic material or transforming substance is DNA.

What is Genetic material?

Genetic material may be defined as any substance found in the cells of plants, animals, microbial or other origins that hold genetic information and that departs it from one generation to the next.

In 1944, Avery and others concluded that the transforming material was pure DNA, not protein or RNA.

These investigators found that DNA extracted from a virulent strain of the bacterium Pneumococcus genetically transformed an avirulent strain of the organism into a virulent form.

Therefore, as per the demonstration of Griffith and Avery, it can be concluded that the given experiment finding supports hypothesis III, i.e. genetic material or transforming substance is DNA.

In terms of biological function or process, what do the solid arrows shown in Model 2A represent?
antoniya [11.8K]
I found the attached image on the internet related to this question.
The solid arrows represent neuronal communication. The stimulus, the effects, and the flow of information is all done by receptors and synapses that send a signals across the body in order to have effective feedback responses promoting the homeostasis of the organism.
